Alana De La Garza was born in 1976 to her Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother. She is a popular actress on TV. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain was fortunate to have starred alongside many famous TV celebrities including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. In 2006, she was cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. Then she joined the shorter-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for several awards, including Best Supporting Actress for TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. She was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her exceptional performance in an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition.
